WED. LESSON AND HOMEWORK FOR NEXT WED. 2ND NOV.

Helloooooo....
Yesterday we finished Unit 1D. We corrected the email on p. 13. We also did the Listening and speaking on p. 15 and finally we practised defining words using relative pronouns (who/which/where).

HOMEWORK FOR WED. (MONDAY'S HOLIDAYS!!):
- WORKBOOK UNIT 1D
- UNIT REVIEW P. 14 (grammar+voc+pronunciation) +15 (reading)
- OPTIONAL WRITING: p. 13- Describe yourselves
- Correct the mistakes on your picture description. 

Last but no least.....try to find info about Halloween!!!!

MONDAY 24TH CLASS + HOMEWORK FOR WEDNESDAY

Good morning,
Yesterday we finished Unit 1D. We did the listening on page 11 and learnt vocabulary about rephrasing, that is, how to explain things when you don't know the exact word.
We also corrected the exercises in the workbook (Unit 1C)

For Wednesday, just do exercises on page 127- section 1D (relative pronouns) ;o))

WED. LESSON AND HOMEWORK FOR MONDAY 24TH OCT.

Yesterday we finished Unit 1C- we spoke about art and paintings and sang a song ;o)) and we started Unit 1D (p. 10)

Homework for next Monday is:
- POST THE DESCRIPTION OF THE PICTURE to the blog, if you have not done it yet!!!
- WORKBOOK- Unit 1C (p. 8+9)

- Go to this link and write down the definition of any word you like. We'll comment them on Monday

HOMEWORK FOR WED. 19th OCT.

You have moved to a new flat and you need some pictures. Check this link and send a post to this blog describing the picture you have chosen.


Apart from that, please fill in this questionnaire and send it to me by email or give it to me whenever you can. It's important for me to know your opinion ;o))

MONDAY 17TH OCT. CLASS

Yesterday we learnt how to describe pictures (p. 8-9) and we reviewed The Body vocabulary (p. 146).
Apart from that, we also corrected and talk about the differences between using Present Simple and Present Continuous (p. 126-127- 1C)

Finally, we recommended the film 127 hours. Watch it, it's worthwhile!!!

HOMEWORK FOR MONDAY 17th OCT

Yesterday we corrected Units 1A + 1B in the workbook and we did the Irish quizz.
We listening to the Oscar winning song "Falling Slowly" from the movie "Once." written and performed by Glen Hansard & Marketa Irglova. If you haven't seen this movie- you need to!

For Monday do the following exercises:
- p. 126-127 Unit 1C- Present Continuous
- 146 Voc. The Body

As this Wednesday is public holiday, remember that we are having lessosns on Friday.

Homework:
- WORKBOOK pages 4+5+6+7- Do the exercises and correct them yourselves with the solutions. On Friday we'll check doubts, problems etc..

Fo those of you that couldn't come, yesterday MONDAY 11TH OCT. we practised the description of people (dossier of copies page 2) and we did a listening about INTERNET DATING.

Then, we started Unit 1C and did the vocabulary and pronunciation sections.
