- Unit 7B (p. 78-79) Present Perfect or Simple Past?- vocabulary, speaking and listening
- Writing on p.73 (NFORMAL EMAIL)


We also reviewed 1st and 2nd Conditionals (dossier p. 32+33)
We practised MONOLOGUE + DIALOGUE (speaking)
We did the Listening exercises I sent you by email (I'm trying to send you the tracks by email......)

Remember, it's just 2 lessons next week and then...exams...and that's all folks!!!

Well, yesterday we reviewed the 1st Conditional (dossier p. 18) and we started and finised Unit 6B- 2nd Conditional (If I were a rich man....)


We did p. 66+67 (listening +speaking) + p. 136-137 (grammar exercises) + p. 151 (vocabulary- animals) + dossier p. 19.


Next lesson will be on 27th April- FRIDAY NEXT WEEK- please do the reading on p. 67 (ex. b)


Apart from that, remember to do all the previuos things you were supposed to do during this Easter holidays (writing, recording, listening, grammar etc etc..)

WED. 21st MARCH LESSON + HOMEWORK FOR FRIDAY 23rd

Good morning EVERYBODY!!!!
Yesterday we started and finished Unit 5A p. 52-53 (use of infinitives)- speaking, reading + listening.


This week, we're having lessons on Friday...and we'll go on with Unit 5B (gerunds).

Good morning!!!!
Yesterday we did speaking activities practising the use of Present Perfect with 'ever' and we did a Listening activity about tourism. Record yourselves again explaining and describing an area in any city/town (name, where it is, describe it, who can go there, what can you do, what kind of shops, restaurants, buildings, monuments can you visit etc..).


Monday is public holidays, so for Wednesday I want you to read the grammar explanations and do exercises on p.134-135 5A+5B - check also p. 154.

MONDAY 27TH DEC. LESSON + HOMEWORK

Yesterday we did Unit 4C p. 44- 45 (reading+listening+speaking) and we reviewed grammar p. 132-133 Units 4C+4D about comparitives and superlatives. 


HOMEWORK DURING NEXT WEEK:
1. WRITING. p. 49 (do the exercises and the description) > RECORDING- record yourselves reading the description of your home town.


2. WORKBOOK: All UNIT 4- from p. 31 to p. 39. We'll check doubts when coming back on Monday 12th.

Hello,
Yesterday we practised speaking using Present Perfect (dossier p. 12) and continue with Unit 4B (p. 42-43). We corrected the reading on p. 42 and talked and watched a video about Household Chores, followed by a speaking activity (negotiating who was going to do what in the house).


We explained the use of ALREADY+YET+JUST and did the exercises on p. 132-133 (4B).


Homework is to finish Unit 3 in the workbook (p. 28/29/30) and do as many listening activities as possible.

Last night I dreamt about some people who were in a meeting. They were listening to the news on TV and they were talking about the news but they didn’t agree about the news because one of them was arguing with the other people. Yesterday I went to bed really early. I dreamt that I was arguing with my boss because I waited all day in his office and when he arrived I couldn’t talk to him because he was really busy and he didn’t want to listen to me; then, we didn’t agree about my job, so I woke up. [Marta, David, Sandra]

Last night I had a dream, a beautiful love story. Two people were listening to a love song and they fell in love. Later, they started to talk. The girl was speaking about her family. Two days ago I was waiting for the bus when I listened to an interesting conversation. The people were speaking about a killer but I didn’t understand any word because they were talking very quietly. Yesterday I argued with my parents because I wanted to go on a trip. They didn’t agree because they didn’t have money to lend me. Last night I dreamt about my next ski trip. Yesterday, I was listening to the weather forecast for the next weekend on the radio. It said that it would be very windy and so I talked to my friends.  I met them and we started to argue about if we’ll go to ski or not. WED. 1Sst FEB. LESSON + HOMEWORK FOR MONDAY 6TH

Good and colddddd morning!!!!
Yesterday we explained the use of WILL for PROMISES, OFFERS AND INSTANT DECISIONS (Unit 3C- p. 32+33) and we corrected ex. p. 131 (3C) and also p. 30 on your dossier of copies.

We then started Unit 3D which is a revision of present, past and future tenses.
We did the listening p. 34 and talked about the interpretation of dreams (p. 35).

HOMEWORK: P. 130-131 3D and remember to do the recording (planning for next week) I told you in the previous post, so you practise writing and speaking!!!!

MONDAY 30TH JAN. LESSON AND HOMEWORK

Yesterday we practised speaking again (using BE GOING TO to ask questions about future plans), then we did an exam-type listening and we finished with another speaking on p.32.


We also checked Unit 3B in the workbook (speaking and pronunciation).


HOMEWORK:
1. FOR WEDNESDAY: p. 30 dossier of copies

2. WRITING: write a planning for the week, from Monday till Sunday (what are you going to do, if you're planning anything and if you will do anything). BUT...I don't want you to give me the writing in paper, I want YOU to RECORD YOURSELVES AND SEND ME THE RECORDING (you can use your mobile, vocaroo, mailvu or any other system) 

FRIDAY 27TH LESSON & HOMEWORK FOR MONDAY

On Friday we practised speaking about the future and we did THIS LISTENING. Try to listen first without reading the text (you can hide it) and then do the quiz on your right.

WED. 25TH JAN. LESSON + HOMEWORK FOR MONDAY 30TH

Hello,
Yesterday we practised the future structures again doing p. 9 +29 in your dossier of copies. We checked some common mistakes on your writings and we did another listening!!

As this week we are also having lessons on FRIDAY, we'll do several SPEAKING ACTIVITIES, we'll work on Unit 3C (using WILL for promises, offers and instant decisions) and we'll also do some more listening practice.
